As a practice dedicated to the Phoenix community, we believe that preventive care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. We want to help you keep your mouth and teeth healthy and beautiful for life. By teaching you about your specific dental health, and giving you the knowledge to take control of it, we’ll help you achieve an amazing smile.

Dr. John Dovgan
Dr. John W. Dovgan has three grown children and currently resides in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has been in private practice since 1989 at his current location. He loves to snow ski, water ski, fish, run half marathons, lift weights, mountain bike and enjoy the outdoors in Arizona with his beautiful wife Catherine. Dr. Dovgan received his undergraduate degree of Bachelor of Arts in 1985 from Creighton University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1989. He is a Member of the American Dental Association, Delta Sigma Delta Dental Honor Society, the Arizona Dental Association, the Academy of Laser Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Academy of Implant Dentists, the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry, and the “DOCS” Education Sedation Dentistry. He is a past president of Total Treatment Seminars and the Synergy Study Club; A Phoenix study club affiliate.

My appointment was for a cleaning. Staff was friendly and helpful with my questions about insurance. The doctor explained the issues and didn’t push expensive treatments. I did make another appointment for treatment because I feel I’ll continue coming to this location.

I am quite pleased with the service I received today. Initially, my blood pressure was elevated due to a distressing experience with a dentist, which has led me to avoid dental visits whenever possible. However, Dr. Dovgan demonstrated great patience and ensured that I felt at ease throughout the procedure.
