Being exposed to health care by her physician parents, Dr. Sheila Mahooti always knew that she would go into the same field. She eventually found her calling in Dentistry, where she can combine artistic tendencies with patient care. Dr. Sheila Mahooti began pursuing her dreams after graduating from New York University in 2001. She went on to further her skills and education by completing a one-year general practice residency program at the prestigious Manhattan VA hospital. From there, she relocated to sunny Southern California, where she has been practicing ever since. Our dentist in Encino Dr. Mahooti, is a faculty member at UCLA School of Dentistry in the Clinical Restorative Department. She stays abreast with cutting edge developments in the dentistry field by continuously educating herself through various seminars and courses. Additionally, she is an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Society, and the San Fernando Valley Dental Society. Even though Dr. Mahooti has a passion for delivering first-rate dental treatments, her priority lies in providing treatments in the most compassionate and gentle ways. Her goal is to release patients of anxiety, worries, and concerns related to all aspects of dentistry while in her care. Dr. Mahooti treats every patient as she would her family members.
