Dr. Tony Bae received his Civil Engineering degree at Queen’s University. Dr. Bae was not only committed to academics but to athletics as well. During his time at Queen’s, he competed in Varsity Track & Field, and in Varsity Development Rowing. After successfully earning his degree, Dr. Bae returned to British Columbia and earned his degree in Dentistry at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Bae is a fitness enthusiast and enjoys many sports and outdoor activities. Dr. Bae is also dedicated to volunteer work in dental communities. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Faculty of Dentistry at UBC and volunteers at the Vancouver Downtown East Side Dental Clinic, Abbotsford Food Bank Dental Clinic and Douglas College Community Clinic where he mentors UBC Dental students. He has also served as a volunteer member of the UBC Dental Admission Committee as well as Board of Directors for British Columbia Dental Association. Dr. Bae looks forward to developing trusting relationships with his patients and with his calm, kind demeanor, he is perfectly suited to our practice. He looks forward to helping many patients in downtown Vancouver to restore and enhance all aspects of patients’ oral health while working alongside our hygienists, Maria, Colleen and Christine and the rest of the dental team at Coastal City Dunsmuir Dental Centre.
