Dr. NamThien Vu
Dr. NamThien Q. Vu was born and raised in Olympia, Washington, a graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry, and completed his post-doctoral General Practice Residency at UNLV School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Vu’s passions have led him to volunteer his time extensively, both home and abroad, treating a diverse population of patients. In addition to this service, his post-doctoral education has given him advanced training in general dentistry as well as dental procedures such as root canal therapy, implants and oral surgery. His primary focus is delivering the highest quality dentistry in the most caring manner. When he isn’t practicing dentistry, Dr. Vu enjoys spending time with his family and friends, music, and being involved in sports, both as a spectator and a participant. His favorite teams to follow are the UW and Seattle professional teams. Above all else, he is a compassionate clinician who is excited to have this opportunity to build relationships with our patients and care for this community.

We provide a community feel in a downtown area. We strive to inform our patients of everything that could help improve their oral health and make a partnered decision on how patients want to move forward.

What are you proud of in your practice?
I took over the practice in 2020 right before COVID and I am proud that we have been able to retain our loyal patients and continue to build on growth of the practice.
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
I enjoy treating patients with whichever needs they may have. I enjoy performing fillings, crowns, botox, cosmetic dentistry, invisalign. Being a general dentist, I can offer a lot of procedures and that is what makes it fun.

Dr. Vu and his team, including Naomi, are fantastic! Everyone is very kind and professional. I’m not an easy patient but Dr. Vu takes the time to listen to my concerns and gives me all of my options. I highly recommend Summit Dental Care!

Dr. Vu is the best dentist in Seattle. I originally visited his practice to correct some dental work from a previous dentist. He quickly identified the existing issues and fixed them, relieving me of a great amount of pain. But that's not what kept me coming back. The staff there is extremely friendly, from the front office to the dental assistants. You can tell that Dr. Vu takes great care in who he hires. Not to mention Dr. Vu himself is very patient and kind; he always takes time to explain the procedures and the pros/cons of different options. Finally, the office itself is very clean and inviting. It's on the 9th floor which provides a great view of downtown Seattle. If you're looking for a dentist in Seattle, then please give Dr. Vu a chance; you won't regret it.

I am not from the area and needed emergent dental care. I walked in and luckily there was one appointment available for me immediately. The staff was kind, knowledgeable, and patient with me and my questions. They were transparent with everything they were doing and provided me with options for my care. While I am not from the area and can’t be a regular patient, I am happy to have stumbled upon this office during my visit. Dr. Vu, his dental assistant, and Jamie were all phenomenal. Thank y’all so much!

Dr. Vu takes great pride in his work. He has invested in higher education beyond completing a residency and additional courses. He offers a variety of treatment options and informed me of the ideal long term solution. I cannot recommend him and his staff enough. My friends and family will be visiting soon!
