Dr. Lucia Tanzil
Dr. Tanzil graduated from Trisakti University School of Dentistry, and earned her DDS (Doctorate of Dental Surgery) in 1987. She is a member of the ADA (American Dental Association), CDA (California Dental Association), and the Santa Clara Dental Society. Dr. Tanzil has been associated with families of San Jose and other surrounding communities for several years now, offering them quality dental treatment and educating patients about how they can save their natural teeth for as long as possible. Her aim is to protect the healthy smile and motivate patients to take good care of their teeth and gums all while developing a personal friendship. When she is not in the office doing dental treatment, you will find her in her kitchen, as she enjoys baking on her free time.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?
I like to focus on getting my patients to having healthy gums, all while maintaining them by being proactive with preventive care, restorative care, and even cosmetic care. I like to prioritize, all while customizing treatment for what is important to my patients needs.
What are you proud of in your practice?
We do everything possible to make dental visits comfortable, relaxed, and friendly with pleasant experiences. We have gentle, and caring doctors and staff. We provide very personal, and welcoming to all ages of your family including children and seniors. We thrive to provide a doctor-patient relationship built on trust.
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
I truly enjoy doing direct composite veneers, cosmetic crowns, as well as doing bridge work. While majority of these treatments are cosmetic, I find that it makes me feel ecstatic to be able to give my patients a new smile, and have them leave my chair smiling with confidence.

Dental hygienist was fast and efficient. Explained what they were doing, what to do to ensure better gum and tooth health, and made sure I was comfortable with the cleaning. Doctor Tanzil was nice, fairly informative on future treatments and asked about past dental treatments to confirm her observations. All-in-all, great dentist.
