About

Dr. Jonathan F. Powell received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas-Houston Dental Branch in 2004. While in dental school, he received numerous awards for the research he did while on a fellowship that took him to the United Kingdom. Dr. Powell also published two research articles in prestigious dental journals. At graduation, he received two awards. One was the Greater Houston Dental Society Community Dentistry Award and the other was the Dental Public Health Award for Community Service. Dr. Powell, an Eagle Scout, believes in the benefits of service. He has gone on dental missions to the jungles of Nicaragua and Guatemala. Dr. Powell is also very active in his church.
